Susan Arann has been the design talent behind successful residences and apartments in the New York City Metropolitan area and Florida market for more than 30 years.
Susan Arann is a graduate of the City University of New York. She attended Parsons School of Design and New York School of Design. She is Design Director, as well as Principal Designer, of American & International Designs, Inc. (A&ID), a full service interior design firm. She is past-president of the American Society of Interior Designers New York Metropolitan Chapter. She is a leader in her industry. Susan holds professional licenses and is certified in New York and Florida and has won numerous awards for excellence in interior design and space planning.
Our projects include the Ritz Carlton and the Hilton Hotel properties, as well as a variety of restaurants, clubhouses, and lobbies.
Ms. Arann’s international clientele speaks to her global design perspective as well as her highly regarded reputation for project management and regularly communicating on project status with her clients. She is a lecturer, panelist, and judge on a variety of interior decorating and design topics. Ms. Arann’s ideas and works have been published throughout her career.
Ms. Arann is also widely acclaimed for her expertise in color trends and has given numerous well-received lectures on the subject. Further, she was nominated for Working Woman Entrepreneurial Excellence.
Considering her flair for color and design, it comes as no surprise to learn that she owned and operated a highly successful fashion boutique prior to entering the field of interior design. As an aside, Ms. Arann was once prominent in New York State politics and ran as a candidate for state assembly prior to launching her career as an interior designer.
